Coffee Review Tasting Notes: Delicate, floral- and caramel-toned aroma. In the small cup the caramel drops back and a pungent, lemony cedar dominates, complicated by continuing floral top notes. Lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Caramel returns with the flowers in the finish. Almost loses its way in two parts milk, but the caramel turns pleasantly chocolaty and the cedar contributes some authority.
Source Notes: Apparently intended as a medium-roasted Northern Italian-style espresso blend. Paradise Roasters prides itself on roasting and shipping coffee only after orders are placed. Its metaphoric mission is to bring some paradisiacal warmth from the coffee-growing south to the cool environs of Minnesota.

The Bottom Line
Its crisp, pungent brightness and sweet floral notes make it more trendy contemporary American than Italian, and the better for it.
